How to read make up color chart.

jaymin0111

Hello. This time, I'll explain how to read a makeup color chart. Many Korean makeup brands provide color charts, categorizing them by warm tones and cool tones, as well as brightness and darkness. If you already know your season, reading the chart is simple.

Looking at the picture, the left side is the warm tone area, and the right side is the cool tone area. If you have a neutral undertone, the area towards the warm tone in the middle is the neutral zone.

Spring (Warm tone): Refers to brightness and warm tone areas. Coral is the primary color. Spring's pink is a bright pink with a hint of yellow. Warm pinks complement neutral tones well.

Summer (Cool tone): Refers to brightness and cool tone areas. Summer includes colors with a lot of white, such as pink, and lavender, which is pink mixed with blue. Subdued mauve colors are also part of summer's palette.

Autumn (Warm Tone): Refers to the darker range of warm tones. Browns are the base colors, ranging from warm yellows to deep orange-reds like brick. Subtle rose colors complement both fall and neutral tones.

Winter (Cool Tone): Refers to the darker range of cool tones. Reds combined with blues, extending from hot pinks to plums, constitute winter colors. Black and ash brown are also part of the cool tone palette.

Please select the color that matches your needs. Feel free to utilize the effects of the colors mentioned in the session.

Enjoy the colors:)
